Nail polish remover is acetone. It's similar to alcohol in that it will evaporate quickly at room temperature. I mean, you could rinse it off with either water or alcohol if you need to quickly stop the reaction with the disc plastic.How to get nail polish remover out of game disc?
i would have thought that would evaporate quite quickly
just let it dry or take it to best buy or something....
it might take a long while to dry, probably like 2 weeks or so, but if not, take it to best buy or game stop or an electronic store.

Sorry, but I don't think there's anything you can do to rescue that disc. The protective coating has almost certainly been eaten away, with damage to the recorded surface.

I'm doing solid in the other sections but really, really hate the games.

Grab the PowerScore LSAT Logic Games Bible. That is by far the best book for the games section, and you see people talking about it on all the forums. LSAT: Any tips on nailing down the logic games section?
Believe it or not, many pre-law students start out hating the games and then they become their favorite section. The reason is, you typically don't see anything like the games section in any tests you've taken before you're exposed to the LSAT so you score low. But, with practice, it's easy to pick up the patterns. TestSherpa has several great articles on LSAT games you should check out. In general they recommend:
Learn how to address and sketch the main game types.
Learn the types of rule deductions the LSAT typically asks (e.g., the Contrapositive).
Make sure you don't get confused by ';must be true/false,'; and ';could be true/false';
Use previous sketches to help answer ';could be true'; questions without doing any extra work
Learn and practice easy, visual short-hand for the rules in each game so you can quickly analyze and get through the game without having to re-read all the time

I think I am definitely a logic games success story. On my first practice test, I was at about 43% in the logic games category...by the time I took the real test, I was at 100%. (Now my reading comp is a whole different story...)
Really, the tricky part of logic games is that a) they can be very complex and b) you are not given a lot of time to complete them.
I had a bunch of comprehensive prep books from various companies (Barrons, Kaplan, Princeton Review), and what I would do is go to the games section and follow through all of their games and explanations. Then I would break them down for myself, taking all the time in the world to make sure I had it figured out. I spent hours just on solving those stupid games...focusing first and foremost on accuracy.
Then, in the weeks leading up to the test, I did a ton of practice tests (I think I ended up doing about 10 of them in the 3 weeks before the test). That really gave me the chance to take what I had already trained myself to do...and fit it into the allotted time. You can also lead into this by taking a single game and trying to work it in 8.5 minutes. (It is important to practice them as an entire section before the test though because the LSAT really tests your endurance.)
Logic games is supposedly the easiest section to improve upon, and I know you can do it. Good luck on your LSAT! :]

That game was so bad that I tuned in American Idol (and that show sucks rocks).
I was on the edge of my seat, if that one goal wasn't dismissed because of the high stick we would of been tied and at least went into overtime, oh well, good game on both teams parts, even though I do not like the caps what so ever.

Where are all 6 loose nails in the Marble Scene for the Wii game Ultimate I Spy? I can only find 5.?
My son had this problem as well. He finally found all six: there are two on the table with the hammer and the catapult; there is one on top of the book next to the toy ferris wheel; there is one next to the blue triangle; one on top of the cardboard box; and one under the tracks the marble rolls on. I love them actually i like the intense especially f it is a championship game or a playoff game or even a college game like how wade hit that three in 2 OT against bulls that was beautiful and couldn't have been done any better so I love nail biters hope i change your mind about this
Only if they win and usually we don't win those. Those games are harder for me to watch than blowouts and even tougher to get over if we lose. We had one close game against the Nets that went into overtime and ended with a dunk. Took me a week to get over it. But yeah those games are what make the NBA fun to watch.

During my soccer game yesterday this girl dug her acrylic nail into my skin on my leg?
but she didnt cut the skin, she just made a large abbrasian the line is just a simple scartch but is about 4 inches long. its really red not swelling or anything what should i do about that . the same girl also kneed me right under the scratch when we were going up for the ball. i didnt go down cause i didnt really think of it , but now its sore. feels like theres a knot there and feels like the muscles are streatching when i walk. its not excrutiating pain but hurts a little. is it the possible that muscles or ligaments could be torn or stretched?

acrylic nail scratch - all it is is bruisng from the nail. the sharp end bruised the muscle even though the skin didnt break. it should heal in a few days.
kick to shin - bruising your muscles causes swelling and pain. simply ice it. the swelling should go down in the next few days and then youll just have a bruise.

Wash the scratch and put on some bacitracin ointment. The knot is a bruise, ice it.
For the scratch, put some neosporin and a band-aid to make sure it doesn't get infected.
For the knee, Acetaminophen might help the pain. I don't think you have a torn ligament, but I recommend not moving it. Ice might help too, but uh, no soccer.
for the scratch-just let it heal on it's own. since it didn't break the skin, you should heal up pretty quick
as for the muscle soreness, try alternating heat with ice. the ice will help reduce the swelling and the heat will relax the sore, tight muscles. apply an ice bag for 10-15 mins then in a few hours, use the heat instead (for 10-15 mins). this should help you feel better. do this at least twice a day for each.
if not allergic to it, take ibuprofen for pain. it has an anti-inflammatory in it to help reduce swelling. take 200-400mg every 6 hours as needed but no more than 1200mg in 24 hours.
the knot you are possibly feeling is more than likey a bruise underneath the skin and it should start to decrease in size over the next few days. if it doesn't then i would make an appt just to have it checked out by your dr.

A ref once forced a player on an opposing team to leave the floor because he felt her nail jewelry posed a danger to her teammates. The player was pretty upset because the nail job had cost a lot of money, but when I looked at it, I had to agree.

How can I relieve 2 toes(nails) that turned purple after a soccer game?
I played with a smaller size soccer shoe than my feet and 2 of my toes are purple. It kinda hurts when i apply preassure on them. Is there any solution to this?

I was just damn glad to see the Sooners stay in there. It was a awesome rival game and i would say that the best team won but they didn't. Texas still sucks and i just don't see them winning a national championship.

I was never nervous...it seems that when Colt is playing like **** which he has been for a few games now, the defense feeds off of that. They have been shadowed by the offense for far too long...today that proved that they can play defense with the best.

I was pissed so bad... But,,,that's the way it goes sometimes; you kinda get used to them when you grow up near the SF BAY AREA,, 'cause thier everywhere; and the aren't as bad as pidgeons,,in my opinion.... But,,since I felt so connected to my FIRST EVER brand new vehicle of any kind.. I was washing and wiping with anything I could roud up...
As crappy as that 'ol Candlestick was; I, for some weird reason miss the old place... And yes. the new park is seriously better.. No doubt about it.

Finally an interesting game. The first 2 games of each series were yawners by the half-way point. Tonight's game had me on the edge of my seat 'till the end. Of course I'm pleased w/ the outcome, but regardless, it was a great game!
